Two years ago when we moved to Germany I noticed I had more free time then before. This was the first time Laura was in all day school, and while I was open to getting a job, it seems that so are almost all the other wives on base. I submitted resume for a few opening and decided that I also needed a hobby therefore I taught my self how to crochet. I jumped in feet first soon yarn was stashed everywhere in my house. First I made gifts for everyone, birthday gifts, Christmas gifts even Easter gifts.

This hobby quickly spun completely out of control, I discovered hats.....
This weekend I took over 100 hats to the craft bazaar on base, I returned home with only 25!

About 4 months ago I really went overboard and started making things without a pattern the result, no one who knows me should be surprised by what I made, sold at the craft fair for $25.
