In a couple of weeks after the movers have come and gone, the keys to the house have been turned in and everything is loaded onto a boat, Laura and I will be headed to Florida to visit with family. Sam and I are very lucky that both of our parents currently reside in Florida, only about 2 1/2 hours apart. This has made visiting in the summer and around the holidays extremely easier then before. Laura loves going to Florida and basking in the love of her Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles. I also enjoy the sun and time with Family and friends, although I spend most of my trips to Florida guilt ridden. When I'm at my parents house enjoying the beach, I feel guilty. When we are at Sam's Parents house enjoying Disney, I feel guilty. I try to make our time spent at each Grandparents house equal, I think it's very important for Laura to have a wonderful, fun, loving relationship with both mine and Sam's families. But I struggle to fit everyone into our visits and make everyone happy. With us moving out of the country I know our trips "home" will be fewer, therefore I have put a lot of pressure onto this visit. I'm struggling to make everyone feel important and missed while also remembering a vacation is suppose to be fun and relaxing.
